Most Disliked
Despite the overall positive feedback, some customers have expressed that they found other locations unappealing, which may deter them from trying this one initially. Occasionally, during peak hours, long lines can lead to waits, especially during lunchtime when the restaurant is at its busiest. This could be a drawback for those in a hurry.
A few visitors mentioned that certain dishes on the menu may feel heavy or greasy for those looking for lighter fare. While there's something for everyone, the focus on comfort food may leave health-conscious diners wanting more salad or veggie options. Also, parking can get hectic during lunch hours due to the restaurant’s popularity, although there are free parking options available.

My favorite place for breakfast and lunch. I commute to Torrance for work and stop here 2-3 times a week. They serve delicious food with minimal wait times. Great staff providing exceptional customer service. The menu has something for everyone and breakfast is served all day.

I've never been to this location bc I was not fond of the other locations so I never stopped by. Well, let's just say they changed my mind! I purchased a burger and chili cheese fries combo and a coke zero!! The food did not disappoint at all!! The lettuce was crispy and fresh. The tomatoes were nice and thickly sliced. They put a perfect amount of cheese on the chili cheese fries. I was thoroughly content with my meal!! I will definitely return!! Yum!!

Visiting from Atlanta, we were absolutely starving after a long day exploring Southern California — and then we found Steve’s Char. Let me just say: WOW. This place is a hidden gem that totally hit the spot. The menu was incredible — from hearty breakfast options to juicy burgers, fresh salads, and even Mexican specials. It was almost impossible to choose, but we finally settled on a feast: crispy zucchini fries, loaded chili cheese fries, a mouthwatering bacon cheeseburger, and a classic chili dog. Every bite was packed with flavor, hot, fresh, and deeply satisfying. The service? Phenomenal. One of the staff members was so genuinely kind and helpful — it made the experience even better. Fast, friendly, and full of good vibes. The menu was clear and easy to navigate, and to top it all off, their ice cream was the perfect sweet ending. Honestly, it felt like the food gods smiled down on us the moment we walked into Steve’s on Crenshaw, Torrance. If you're anywhere nearby, don’t miss this place. It’s everything comfort food should be — delicious, filling, and made with love. THANK YOU STEVE'S #1 CHAR BROILED BURGERS

First time here, I took out my order. I had the avocado burger and boy was that thing huge! Huge size for the price and the french fries were so so good! I love that they're not super salty like most fast food restaurants. So if you want a burger for a good deal I'd say come here. Not sure about the rest of the food yet, but I definitely will come back to try more.

Ate here last night. Really nice guy was our cashier, food was freshly cooked to order and out fast. My husband had the Frisco burger and I had the Philly cheese steak and upgraded my fries to chili cheese fries. All delicious.

This was my first time eating at this establishment and I have to say that I was happy that I did. The fries were well seasoned even though visibly they looked like they had no seasoning. The California burger was done quite well, containing bacon and avocado, a winning combination in my opinion. If I go out that way again, I'll be sure to stop by Steve's for a good burger and fries.

I have been coming to Steve's for over 40 years and it still looks the same. what's really amazing is that the bathrooms are the cleanest I've ever seen and they smell so clean and fresh too. the hamburgers are still delicious but the onion rings are a bit different but they were still tasty.
